On the tour, explore a nearby art studio (Heart for Art) and meet the brilliant local artist Silke Hendel who will lead you step by step through the process. Do not worry if you cannot paint or have never done it before because, on this private guided tour, even amateurs can navigate through and create their own artwork and unwind without the hassle of a crowd.
Later proceed to have lunch at a well-known local cafe while sipping on a glass of wine, Wellington artisan beer, or any beverage of your choice. Next travel to the Weta Cave after lunch to begin the Weta Workshop tour, where you will receive a rare insider's perspective on how Weta Workshop contributes to the creation of physical effects and the magic of filmmaking for some of the biggest movies around the world. Later return to the Weta Cave where you can explore, buy a souvenir during the trip, and get your picture taken with Trolls or Gollum. Before heading back to the city to the drop-off point of your choice, spend the last part of the day taking a gorgeous drive across the Eastern and Southern Bays.
