Know Before You Go
The Amsterdam Dungeon is open daily, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A tour begins every 10 minutes. Each tour is 80 minutes long. Please note that queueing times vary depending on how sizeable the crowd is at the Amsterdam Dungeon.
Madame Tussauds Amsterdam
Madame Tussauds is open between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM from Monday to Sunday.
This 2-hour tour is available daily at 10:00 AM.
The Amsterdam Dungeon is 5 minutes by foot from de Dam, or a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.
Madame Tussauds is located on Dam Square in Amsterdam, about a 10-minute walk from Central Station. You leave the station from the front entrance and walk across the Damrak to the Dam. You will find Madame Tussauds on the Dam between the Kalverstraat and the Rokin.
The Amsterdam Dungeon can be visited in a wheelchair, however, a complete tour can not be experienced. The Amsterdam Dungeon is not suitable for battery operated electric wheelchairs or scooters.
Wheelchair and rollator users are always very welcome at Madame Tussauds. However, strict fire regulations dictate that we can only admit two wheelchair users at any one time. We would therefore strongly recommend you book your visit in advance.

The Amsterdam Dungeon is not recommended for people who suffer from claustrophobia. Pregnant guests or guests with neck or back complaints have to notify a member of staff at entry of the Amsterdam Dungeon.
The Amsterdam Dungeon is really dark which might cause difficulty in navigating the Dungeon for people who are visually impaired.
The Amsterdam Dungeon experience relies predominantly on actors’ and pre-recorded voices, often with dimmed lighting. This can mean that guests with hearing difficulties may find it difficult to fully enjoy the attraction.
