Sorrento to Pompeii Tours

Die Tour war großartig und ich habe den Besuch in Pompeji wirklich genossen. Da die Stätte so groß ist, wäre es hilfreich gewesen, vor der Ankunft eine Karte der Stätte zu haben (die vielleicht im Bus verteilt wurde). Die Tourroute könnte auch auf einer solchen Karte eingezeichnet werden, Wir hätten mehr Zeit an der Stätte verbracht und nicht draußen in der Mittagspause - vielleicht sollte man das als Option anbieten.

The site was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful! I've taken several tours on my vacation to Italy, but I wasn't overly captured and pulled into the history of this amazing place as I have been with other tours such as of the Coliseum, Sistine Chapel, and other sites. The tour guide we had for Pompeii was knowledgeable, but quite repetitive with filling dead space with pointing out things that had already been noted and explained such as store fronts, frescos, and fountains, and such... instead of speaking more on the history of the time and framing out the history of events going on during that time. I still enjoyed myself as I didn't know much about Pompeii and Roman culture and would've been kind of lost wandering around by myself. If someone was just looking for general knowledge on this tour I would recommend, but if they're looking for a deep historical guide, I would advise them to look somewhere else.

Excellent tour guide, very informative. This trip was a great way to see Pompeii and Vesuvius in a day if you are short on time. The lunch in the middle was ok, nothing very exciting. I could have done with just one more hour at Pompeii to see a little more too, but overall a really positive experience

Mena was our tour guide she was excellent especially considering the extreme crowds. Mena was excellent at keeping our large group together and moving forward. Mena explained the history of Pompeii and the volcano and gave us choices so we did not have to stand in endless lines. She turned us loose on mt Vesuvius and we loved the opportunity to climb to the rim.. thank you Mena you are awesome

The trip was very well organized. The guide Sarah did an excellent job in Pompei. She was very passionate about the history of Pompei. The only reason not to rate it "awesome" was the time balance between Pompei and Vesuvius. I felt we did not have enough time in Pompei. But overall a very good experience.

Molto ben organizzato, da tutti i punti di vista. Sia la logistica che le modalità di visita dei siti di Pompei e Vesuvio. Ornella meglio di Wikipedia (ottimo inglese oltre che molto cortese e simpatica) e Giuseppe una sicurezza al volante.

It was a neat experience to walk the pathways that were build so long ago and be part of the history. Truly wonderful experience.

Really fun day out; very well lead and informative. Ornella was a lovely guide both to the general area and around Pompeii. She's very knowledgable, and spoke superb English. She also had a lovely sense of humour- vital in this business. Luigi was a magnificent driver, navigating the hairpin bends and other traffic (including mad moped riders) with great aplomb. It was the best day out of our holiday.
