Honestly, it's probably best you just see the Palatine hill and roman forum while you're at the Colosseum, rather than having to go again the next day, it's a hassle waiting in line- splendid place, though

When we were told about the amphitheatre, I couldn't help but picture the entire scenario in front of me: crazy

I'd always wanted to see the Colosseum but honestly, the crowd is just too overwhelming. I don't like big crowds in general and struggled big-time

We went during the summer, and it was still a little nippy. So dress according to the weather and always carry a sweatshirt
