Billetoplevelsen var meget nem. Vi besluttede at bestille vores billetter på dagen for vores rejse og valgte vores foretrukne tidspunkt, og leveringen var øjeblikkelig. Da vi ankom til terminalen, var det nemt at hente billetterne, og vi fik endda et høflighedsopkald. Turen var fantastisk. Turen over søen var fantastisk, og vi satte pris på dampskibets historie og dets teknologi. Det var fantastisk at kunne se, hvordan dampskibet fungerede. Vi tog kun turen, hvilket havde sine fordele. Dampskibet var travlt, da vi forlod Queenstown, og vi valgte de pladser, der var ledige indenfor. På hjemturen kunne vi vælge et hvilket som helst sæde og valgte at gå på fordækket til at begynde med og derefter bevæge os rundt til andre områder af skibet for at nyde hvert område. Den fire timer lange aktivitet var fremragende, da vi sejlede over til Walers Peak i en kuldrevet dampbåd. At se kullet blive leveret på TSS Earnslaw før ombordstigning bidrog til oplevelsen, ligesom det at se maskinrummet og læse informationstavlerne gjorde.
