Meget godt skiltet, folkene i parken rådgiver dig om ruterne, og alt er velorganiseret. Panoramabus, båd. Jeg tog H-ruten på 4 timer, fordi jeg troede, at jeg ikke ville have tid, men 6 timer er at tage sig god tid, så der er ingen grund til at skynde sig. Der er også picnicborde til rådighed. Det er virkelig værd at gøre, og det er meget velorganiseret og skiltet. Jeg vil gøre det igen, hvis jeg nogensinde får chancen.

Nationalparken er smuk 🤩 . Gangbroerne er svære for hunde at gå på, fordi hullerne mellem plankerne er så store, at deres poter sidder fast. Jo større poter, jo sikrere.

Turen til Plitvicesøerne er en ægte naturperle. Vandfaldene er simpelthen majestætiske, og gangbroen af træ - lang, snoet og perfekt integreret i omgivelserne - giver dig mulighed for at gå hele parken igennem uden at bekymre dig om mudder eller om at miste landskabets charme. Når vejret tillader det, er udsigten perfekt som et postkort. Desværre var der meget tåge den dag, vi tog af sted, hvilket forhindrede os i at se de øvre søer fuldt ud. Det var ærgerligt, for vi havde lyst til at nyde parken i al dens pragt. Alligevel var vi i stand til at værdsætte skønheden i de nedre søer og vandfaldsområder, som er spektakulære selv i dårlig sigtbarhed. Det er bestemt et sted, jeg gerne vil vende tilbage til i godt vejr, for det er værd at se i klart vejr.

Naturen er smuk, alt var rent og velorganiseret. Jeg synes dog, at parkeringsafgiften kunne være gratis eller billigere, for 2 personer betalte vi 63 EUR for billetter og parkering.

Step into Croatia’s Largest National Park

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvice Lakes National Park greets you with a symphony of colors—turquoise, emerald, and deep blue—reflecting in the crystal-clear lakes. Wooden footbridges and pathways wind through the lush forests, guiding you on an enchanting exploration. You begin your journey taking in the breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down moss-covered cliffs. Watch the Great Waterfall, Veliki Sla, plunging down a height of 78 meters, and go for a tranquil boat ride on the largest lake of the park, the Kozjak. A panoramic train ride will take you through the verdant forests, where you can catch sight of deer herds and bears thriving in nature.

A Day amid Nature's Best

Vibrant orchids peek through the foliage carpeting the park in over 1200 plant species. Continue your adventure, following the hiking trails that lead deeper into the park. You have the option to choose between the north entrance, known as Plitvice lakes entrance 1, located just above the Lower Lakes, while the south entrance, Plitvice lakes entrance 2, is next to the Upper Lakes. With the northern entrance, you get to explore the lakes Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, and Novakovića Brod of Donji Jezera Canyon and the 12 lakes of Gornja Jezera if you opt for the southern entrance.

Important Information

Pets are allowed in the park but must remain on a leash.

Luggage storage facility is available at respective entrances.

Note that the following are not allowed during this experience: Photography for commercial purposes, cycling, and drones.

The park is not entirely wheelchair accessible.
