- While most museums allow photography, the only requirement they really have is that you avoid flash, at all costs. Moreover, the use of professional cameras and tripods isn't allowed as well. More specifically, each museum will have boards that suggest their requirements and permissions for the same.
- The best time to beat the crowds during the course of a day is to either visit the museums early in the morning or after 16:00. It's also helpful to know that weekday are better for visits to avoid the weekend crowds. During the year, the best time to visit Rome is between October to April since the colder months bring smaller crowds at the doorstep of famous museums. However, it's best to avoid December since the festive season brings in twice the crowds, as well as the summer months.

Besøget i Hadrians Villa var smukt på grund af stedets størrelse og majestæt. Meget få besøgende på trods af, at vi var på ferie. Meget velholdt sted. En rigtig rejse gennem tiden. Beskrivelserne i audioguiden, som man lyttede til i pauserne på rejsen, var meget omfattende.
Villa d'Este er meget smuk. Også her var der desværre meget få besøgende, så spring-køen-over-billetten var nærmest en bonus.
Vi havde forventet flere fungerende vandfunktioner. Skuffelse over det totale fravær af vand inde i villaen, hvor der er mange springvand og udspring.
Alt i alt havde vi en fantastisk tid med at besøge Villa Adriana og Villa d'Este, også takket være anvisningerne i headout-appen.

At købe billetterne dage før var det bedste! Du ankommer, og på 15 minutter eller mindre er du inde. Med audioguide ca. 4 timer... Det var rigtig godt. Men jeg var efterladt uden ben:glæde:
