Paladset er utroligt, og det var et besøg værd. Der var ingen kø til at hoppe ind i marts... Audioguiden var også en fordel.

Vi kunne bruge bussen til at køre rundt i hele Napoli og stoppe og se alle de steder, vi gerne ville se. Derefter tog vi til paladset, og da vi var færdige, tog vi bussen tilbage til vores lejlighed. Den lå meget tæt på et af bussens stoppesteder.Clementina

Located on the eastern side of the Piazza del Plesbiscito, the Royal Palace, also known as Palazzo Reale is dubbed Naples' very own Versailles. Home to a rich collection of paintings, frescoes, tapestries, chandeliers, and furniture from the 17th to the 19th centuries, this palace-turned-museum offers a rare glimpse into the city’s glorious past. For three centuries, the palace was the seat of the monarchy in Naples and Southern Italy, beginning with the early Spanish and Austrian Viceroys, followed by the Bourbon Kings, all the way up to the House of Savoy.
