Slotsturen var helt fantastisk. Min bedste veninde og jeg besøgte Edinburgh for første gang og besluttede os for at tage på slotsturen, og det var bestemt det hele værd. Slottet i sig selv er allerede fantastisk, men vores guide Jen var helt utrolig. Fra start til slut vidste hun tilsyneladende alt, hvad der var at vide om slottet, var meget sjov og engageret og gjorde turen endnu bedre. Alle, der planlægger at tage på denne tur, bør gøre det 100% og 1000% for Jen, hvis I kan!

Det var et virkelig mindeværdigt besøg. Stedet transporterer dig tilbage til oldtiden, hvor konger engang levede, og herskere steg og faldt. Slottet står som et monumentalt vidnesbyrd om Skotlands rige kulturelle og menneskelige arv - dets vedvarende tilstedeværelse er en levende optegnelse over nationens historie. Mange lærte det at kende gennem filmen Braveheart, som rørte seernes hjerter over hele verden og skabte dyb beundring og sympati for det skotske folk, inspireret af den legendariske frihedskæmper William Wallace. En hjertelig tak til vores guide, hvis store viden berigede vores forståelse af dette smukke land og dets bemærkelsesværdige fortid.
