Selve synet er fantastisk! Jeg havde dog planlagt at købe en billet til Pompeji online, men det kunne jeg ikke. Jeg var nødt til at købe en voucher, og når jeg var der, skulle jeg stille mig i kø og bytte voucheren til en billet. Hvorfor det?

At besøge Pompeji var en fantastisk oplevelse! Alt gik glat, selvom det som forventet var ret overfyldt med turister. Men rejsen fra Napoli var mindeværdig - togturen blev gjort til noget særligt af en harmonikaspiller, der spillede traditionel italiensk musik, og passagererne klappede med. Jeg er ikke sikker på, at det sker hele tiden, men det gav turen et dejligt præg. Napoli er en livlig by med lækker mad og masser at se på. Pompeji er et skatkammer af historie med fantastiske seværdigheder, der er perfekte til fotos, og en utrolig mulighed for at lære om fortiden. Det kan varmt anbefales!

Pompeji var fantastisk, og det var godt at have billetter på forhånd, selvom vi stadig måtte stå i kø for at indløse dem. Vi valgte billetter uden guide, da vi gerne vil gå i vores eget tempo, men en dag var ikke nok for os til at se alt, og næste gang får vi måske også en guide for at lære mere. Pompeï og Herculaneum var imponerende og et must, når man besøger Napoli eller, som vi, Rom. Herculaneum er, som alle fortalte os, vidunderligt. Pompeji er så stort og travlt, at det er ret trættende. Men det var det hele værd. Vi er fra Storbritannien, og vi har romerske rester derhjemme, men intet som dette. Herculaneum er let at komme til, og antikvariet er fantastisk. Der er steder, hvor man kan sidde og bare tage det hele ind, mens Pompeji er mere komplet. Billetterne fungerede godt.

The Secret Room is open every day from 9am to 2pm and entrance is allowed to small groups. The Coin section is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
