Our tour guide was wonderful! Informative and fun - she even made standing in line enjoyable!! I regret that I didn't get her name, but we were in Rome and did the tour on June 3rd. Thank you for a great experience!

Guide was full of good info but not so good at making sure she had all her (small)/group with her. We got left behind, but could still hear most of her commentary and only caught up with her by chance!

Excellent experiance, our guide helped my elderly mother skip the security line and then once inside provided valuable information about all there is to see, it is posible to see the Basilica for free just join the end of the queue, but a guide is a must to get the most out of a short time in the Basilica .

I visited St. Peter's Basilica with my children. Truly exceptional experience. Alessandro, our guide, was really good at telling us the historical facts and describing some peculiarities of the basilica, keeping the attention not only of us adults, but also of the children. Absolutely recommended.

The guid was very knoledgable but the microphone kept scratiching and irretating my ears. Also she told us that we cant go up in the coupela because it is closed in the afternoon. The was not true I we t up by myself without the group.

Expect a considerable wait time as you queue for the security checks. It could take up to 60 minutes during the peak season.
In order to pay your respects, you must abide by the Basilica's dress code. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
St. Peter's Basilica is often subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. Moreover, on Wed mornings, it may be closed to the public due to the Papal Audience taking place in Saint Peter’s Square.
Infants aged 5 and under can enter for free. It is only required to show their ID at the venue to enter.
