Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens

We booked very late minute and thoroughly enjoyed a few hours to stroll in the Boboli Gardens. Next time we will also book the palace. It was a lovely way to finish our visit to Florence and the views of the city and countryside are amazing.

We had an enjoyable walk around the gardens. It was lovely to enjoy the sunshine following days of rain and in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Buying the tickets online saved us waiting in the 100 meter lineup. We got straight in. We didn't use the headphones, preferring to simply walk around enjoying the quiet.

Our guide was fabulous and i apologize for forgetting her name! About 55 with white hair and is very stylish. We moved at a very fast clip and she shared much history with us: from family structures, the growth of weath in families, the reason some stores are below ground level, the chapel that never got marble and is still simple brick, to the fish and meat processors once on the Vecchio Bridge. We finished up at the Piti Palace with the explanation of the original 7 windows. I didn't make it to the Boboli Garden that day as I had already climbed the Dome at 8:15. I am going to go tomorrow!

We had the best tour guide I have ever experienced, Camilla. She brought the artwork, the Medici's and the palace alive for us. I w ill never forget this tour. Her knowledge as an art restorer was reflected in her ability to explain much about what we were seeing. Compared to our experience at the Uffizi, with another company, your tour was much better. In addition the fact it was less crowded was a huge benefit.

It was fantastic! Highly appreciated the passion our guide (Camilla, if I'm correct) put into the visit. So many details on painting techniques and forms... loved it!

An amazing experience, the Pitti Palace was truly wondrous, it was an optical overload of epic proportions! The Boboli Gardens were magnificent, a sight to behold around every corner. Headout booking was seamless and easy to manage with the off line app to simplify everything.

Purchased tickets to Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens in Florence via the app. Was so easy and everything at the venue worked like clockwork. Went a bit earlier in the morning to avoid crowds . Have now gone on and booked other Florence sites through same app.

A visit to the Uffizi is always great nourishment for the mind and heart. There was not a long line at the entrance but having the ticket in advance and a defined entrance time helps to plan the day. The security check system at the entrance was streamlined and we enjoyed our visit. Perhaps a bit too many people but by booking the visit on the holiday we were prepared.
