Even if we bought skip the line tickets, we still had to wait a long line until we entered in the Louvre museum. On the contrary we entered immediately when we arrived in the Museum of Orsay. Both wonderful museums and should not be missed

Musée d'Orsay is our favorite museum. Having fast track timed tickets was great. We didn't spend too long waiting in the queue.

The musee d'orsay is in a beautiful building. Exhibits are interesting particularly the impressionists and statues. Cafe of 5th floor was stunning Fast track still meant queuing but you have to hope it was a shorter queue than not having bought the ticket

The museum was great and the audio-guide works. But the fact that I have to go to the Head out app to get my tickets was a hassle. It wasn't sent in the email, said my ticket is in the app so I needed to install the app (I have no more phone memory and poor internet data.) We were almost denied entry because I do not have an internet roaming and the ticket is in the app, unlike other ticketing online that sends pdf file on the email confirmation with my free internet. We went out of the museum to get better data coverage in order to install the app and get my tickets 😆

Did you know that in 1911, the Mona Lisa was famously stolen from the Louvre by an Italian handyman named Vincenzo Peruggia? The painting was missing for two years before it was recovered in Italy.
