This expereince was fantastic starting with the train ride from France which was a cool expereince iteself. The tour guide was waitibg for us when we arrived. We had a semi-private tour (one other family) and a very nice private vehichlr driving us. The tour guide was AMAZING! He was extremely knowledgable, providing visuals at each stop. There were multiple stops and each one was spectacular. The guide was also flexible, allowing us to have a say in our tour. This tour was well worth the money.

The requirement to present free tickets for minor children annoyed me and wasted my time. I didn't even have the option of ordering these free tickets online! What a shame! I can understand the desire to know more about the museum's attendance figures, but in this case it would be better to issue paying tickets at the same time.

It was easy breezy and straight forward loved the tomb and the antique weapons. Note you do have to get $0 free tickets at the counter for the kids.

These tickets are valid until 28 Mar, 2025.

One of the top three armaments museums worldwide, the Army Museum in Paris is also home to one of the largest collections of military artifacts and history on the planet. In his tomb, none other than Napoleon Bonaparte has lain since 1861. Receive first access to this collection of weapons, armor, and artwork aimed towards the military.

Napoleon I's tomb is housed within the 110-meter golden dome of the Dôme des Invalides, a structure that was constructed between 1677 and 1706 and reaches far into the Paris sky. The inscriptions and laurel crown commemorate the Empire's greatest triumphs, and his son and brothers also rest here.

You can find weapons and armor from the 13th to the 17th centuries in the Old Department. Artifacts featuring well-known French historical personalities, such as Louis XIII and Francis I, can help you envision what it might have been like to be at war in those eras. Similarly, explore the most violent conflicts, peek into soldiers' lives, and discover how technology has evolved over time in the Modern Department.

The visit to Historial Charles de Gaulle will allow you to experience an interactive multimedia space dedicated to the man the monument has been erected for. The next stop, at the Musee des Plans-Reliefs will allow you to have a look at an assortment of military models. Finally, the Museum of the Order of the Liberation will introduce you to the heroes of the Legion of Honor of France. Military and history buffs should not miss this journey.
