Louvre Museum Guided Tour

The guide was amazing and it truly was great to skip the lines and have access to the Mona Lisa painting within no time. Thank you!

Tour was great, it didn't feel like anything was missed and the guide was very informative. However, the 3 hour tour I paid for ended up only being 2.5 hours which was disappointing

The Louvre can only really be appreciated in person. It it so massive. Only go with a prepaid ticket and a guide who knows how to use shortcuts and focuses on certain things. Also be sure to use only the Louvre address. We were told to meet at the Louis XIV horse statue. Thus the taxi driver dropped us 8 walking minutes from the entrance. Turned out that the statue is in the massive open area inside the Louvre gate. In addition there were several tour guides around the statue so you need to arrive early and know the name of the tour management company. It is very easy to get lost in crowded areas so stick to your guide. 3 hours was enough. I was exhausted. This is not a trip for the physically weak.

The guide was really helpful - took us thru the fastest gate in. Even though it wasn't a guided tour, she explained a bunch of things to us.

The guide we had was amazing and gave so much more than an ordinary tour. His knowledge of the paintings and sculpture was mind blowing. Never enjoyed a tour so much. Since Louvre is such an important site, I thought you should know that the guide was half of the experience. The artwork is so exceptional.

The commentary was insightful. On the whole, good experience. It was worth it. Guide (Avi) had good knowledge of the history and Louvre and an awesome sense of humor and developed a good connect with the group. The overall pace could have been a bit slow though. While the tour ticket said 3 hours we were done by 2 hrs 15. That was disappointing. Entry tickets should be handed over to us to move around freely inside and re-enter if needed. A flagpole or some tall thing should be there with tour guide so that it becomes easy to spot him in the crowds.

I loved that when I couldn't find my group ( there are so many groups ) Headout called me to see where I was. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

The guide was wonerful. We arrived 45 minutes early so we would know where to go. The "cafe" we were directed to is closed. There were several other companies there with signs and arrows but I could not find our compay. I was even looking for the 2 p.m. tour so I would know where to go. After 2 p.m. I met two different parties from the 2 p.m. tour still looking for the meeting place. It was very annoying. Had the guide not been so good, I would have really been disappointed. Someone from the office called me and I thought they other people had found the group -- but they had not. As it turned out, one of the competing tour guides told me where to go. And by the way, I used the link in your email to direct me to the point and it said "you have arrived" and it was probably 50 yards from where the guide was.

Our guide was delightful, very enthusaiastic, and well informed. She managed us through the crowds deftly. I enjoyed her immensely.

The entrance to the museum is greatly facilitated by the preferential access, which is appreciated. The guide, Jorge Luis Camacho, knows a lot about the museum and the works that are essential to see during the visit, however during the whole tour he took every opportunity he had to speak ill of the Catholic Church, which is quite tiring.

It was great to skip the line on a crowded day. My only criticism was it was hard to find the guide at the meeting place. You should hold a Head Out flag or at least use purple

Easy meeting spot, quick access - no waiting in line! - and extremely knowledgeable, friendly guide. Recommend this experience.

Instead of making the meeting place by an identifiable object, like a statue, like other groups did, the meet up place was in the middle of nowhere, and I had to ask another group leader to call your number with their phone to find you, as I couldn't call with my phone. I luckily caught the meeting place just as they were leaving, when I was there at 9 AM 15 minutes EARLY. That just seems to be a senseless thing to do and you should avoid doing this with other groups.

Our guide was very knowledgable. She was amazing! The tour is actually 2 hours not 3, it takes 1 hour to gather, get processed, enter, store your things and get the tour started.

This was a brilliant tour, we learnt things we didn't know about the Louvre and enjoyed every second. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the most of the two hours we had in the museum. One of the best tours we have been on ever. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide was awesome. She knew what she was talking about. She made our tour much more enriched. The only distressing moment was we really couldn't find where we were supposed to meet your person with an orange cap that we had to go ask other tour agents where our tour was, they pointed to him. He didn't have any sign. He was late really was very stressful. We thought we were going to miss our tour but otherwise it was wonderful.

Tour Guide Hamish was the best. Super engaging & very knowledgeable. Loved his accent too. If his boss is reading this, give this guy a promotion or pay raise!!
