Having the flexibility to make an art tour with your own pace and skip the lines in any of them makes an awsome start for any journey

It was my first time visiting the museum, but it was astonishing ... starting from the building itself, to the number of important artworks, to the Guernica masterpiece. I hope to visiit again the museum soon.

I didn't expect to see such beautiful and inspiring works, from both major and lesser-known painters. A splendid experience!

Seeing paintings and sculptures on walls and floors rather than in books. Getting there early meant we had time to absorb some of the paintings without the crowds.

Unfortunately, the ticketing system is not functional and we had to wait in two lines to get in. First at the ticket office and then at the 'entrance.
The tour, on the other hand, is well organized and you can easily find the things you are interested in

Audio guide set up very poorly. We walked through the same halls several times to find the works described. The rooms are poorly marked and you waste a lot of time finding matches. Also, some works were out in other exhibitions but were listed anyway.

Picasso....ease of getting around exhibition.
Would of preferred a physical map, not just on the phone doesn't make it easier.
Had to just read the information given on the wall display for directions!

Having skip-the-line tickets for three museums was a great help. Let customers know at The Prado they will have to "exchange" their digital tickets for printed ones to differentiate between the museums. They will have to stand in line to do so. No big deal but a bit confusing as there is no signage for this. The museum is extraordinary as is the Thyssen too!

This was a return visit to the Prado after 12 years. As expected the work on display was truly wonderful. The last time I was there Goya's black paintings were down stairs in ( I think)a basement area. This time they were in a room on the ground floor adjacent to other work by Goya and Velazquez and I felt they lost something of their impact.
My main gripe with my visit this time was the crowds. It was impossible to get anywhere close to a lot of the better known and more popular works. Big attractions like Las Meninas and Goya's 3rd of May were impossible to view as the crowds were so large -- a lot of pushing and shoving involved. I know there is very little that can be done about this, but I thought I should mention it anyway.
Also the queing in the restruants and cafes was so long and frustrating that we gave up in the end.
Apart from these few grumbles the Prado visiting experience is still among the best in Europe. And what a collection!

Purchasing tickets was a breeze. I would take the three museum option when booking your tickets. The Prado was great but you couldn't take photos. Other two were an incredible surprise. Must see!

While the works are magnificent, we found the signage unclear and the visibility of work numbers inadequate. The tour, based on a main selection, is not at all intuitive.

I spent the whole day going from one museum to the next. Each was unique and featured thoughtfully curated exhibitions. It was very easy to use the pre-paid ticket although I wasn't initially aware that you have to take the QR code to the ticket window to exchange for an actual ticket. The close proximity of the museums to each other was a huge incentive to keep moving. It was fabulous.

The visit was really enjoyable, having already purchased the ticket online we did not queue to get in and after a brief initial bewilderment as to where to start the tour, after the initial directions given to us we were able to visit the entire museum on our own. A really interesting experience, with so many beautiful works to see...you truly leave culturally enriched. I highly recommend it!!!

Interesting museum with Great art exhibits. Too bad that during the time I was there one floor was closed to the public. In any case enviable experience, excellent management of access with the ticket already ready: no lines!

It was really really wonderful to see all the wonderful paintings. I knew it was a very large museum but it was really quite difficult and complicated to navigate the route. I think the path through the museum needs to be more user friendly.

Awesome collections. Would have skipped the Thyssen had we not opted for the Paseo del Artes and that would have been a big mistake. Ticket usage was a little confusing. Would have liked to know that "over 65" reduced rates are not restricted to EU citizens, as they are in France.

Being able to see the art I studied in school in person was a dream come true. It was fun for me to recognize artists names and tell my mom fun facts I had about the artist or how the paining came to be.

Wonderful museum with many masterpieces. It does take a few tours to do justice to all the pieces worth seeing. In addition, the Prado staff is extremely friendly and helpful in finding your way around (this is in great contrast to the attitude of the (hospitality) staff at Reina Sofia).
We had a three in one ticket (Prado, Reina and Thyssen). In itself, we got value for money. Nevertheless, we appeared to be insufficiently prepared. There appeared to be different opening hours (one of the three closed early on Sunday) and there appear to be days when admission is completely free. That is a point for next time.
