Accademia Gallery Timed Entry Tickets with optional Audio Guide

The exhibition was very impresive and relevant. Worth visiting as long as you get the skip-the-line tickets. Otherwise. you'll spend a couple hours in line waiting.

Even though we had skip the lines. We still had to wait in like for almost an hour past our booking time. Ticket collection is not well signed

The exhibit was the focus of our visit and went very well. The guide made our wait in line minimal so good. Would suggest a more visible sign in the staging area to minimize confusion about being in the right place.

The David alone was worth the admission and Headout made it easy to get in after all the tickets on the Accademia sight had gone.

Our ticket people were easy to find and very helpful. So glad we skipped the q. As it was, our 9.30 group went in probably 15 min late but all OK.

The art museum is really beautiful. The first time I saw the authentic David statue, I thought it was incredible. The whole trip of art appreciation was very good. The only thing that I felt I could improve was the queue. On that day, I went 20 minutes in advance. As a result, the queue was still an hour ago. I asked the staff about my time point where to queue up. The three staff members were different, and they also asked me to go to the next street to have a look. Fortunately, I insisted on not leaving until waiting for the queue, otherwise I would definitely miss it and not be able to enter. I sincerely suggest that the digital ticket app can inform customers. At present, what time is their turn to enter. It is expected to line up in a few minutes later. Let tourists know the time and location at the app, so that they don't have to panic on the road.

The art was amazing, nothing like it in the world. The only problem was the wait to get in. We had 3:00 tickets and we had to wait in line for about 45 minutes, which effected our ability to see other sites.

The museum is great. Smaller than Uffizi but worth it to see David and the Sabine Women plus more. Still a big queue for getting through security though.

I read the previous reviews on having to exchange your ticket beforehand so arrived with plenty of time. However when we went to the ticket office they said just to get in the time designated queue and you can exchange your tickets inside the museum. We double checked and was told this by a guide too. It went okay- we just exchanged inside but was worrying with all the contrary advice given online that we might be turned away, so I don't know if the process has just changed recently. This was on 2nd May 2024. Also bought combo tickets but somehow got 2 tickets for one museum and only 1 for another. Was probably user error but combo implies you would want both people going to both museums, why would I want half a combo ticket? So maybe something to flag if people accidently choose this option in future. Museum themselves were great however - but be prepared for a lot of confusing queuing.

Nous avons été en retard car le bus conduisant vers le meeting point à Accademia et Uffizienz était gravement en retard. Nous avons reçu sans problème nos tickets et nous passions par le red point, c'est-à-dire la queue la plus vite!

David was incredible. Even more impressive than we imagined. Note that the meeting point is before spot on the map and by the orange flag.

A bit confusing since there were so many people in line, made it difficult to locate correct location. Also entry running later than expected

It was easy to find the tour manager outside. They helped me download a guide. They were very helpful. Skipping the line was great. My only recommendation was that the download of information wasn't as thorough as the audio guides inside.

Great joining instructions and information. Easy to find. Well worth paying for 'skip the queue'. Very well organised.

Evitamos una fila bastante larga y entramos muy rápido al museo. Las instrucciones de como cambiar el voucher por los tickets no están actualizadas, ya que no era necesario pasar antes a la librería que mencionan las instrucciones, de acuerdo al personal del museo y a mi experiencia, el voucher se cambia dentro del museo y después de la fila inicial.

We had a great experience, however the explanation where to get the tickets could have been better. Headout needs to say that you will enter the Academia and after the security check you can redeem the tickets. It was very confusing getting there, having to look for the ticket counter next to the bookstore only to be sent inside like everyone else. Make it simple, line up at your timed time slot, go through the security check and and redeem your tickets in the counter to the left. ( inside)

Once inside, the experince was fantastic. However, the museum was admitting people about 30-minutes late, so our timed-entrance was delayed. It all worked out, but it was surprising to hear this was not unusual. I would have changed the day around had I known this.

It was a little difficult to figure out where to pick up our timed tickets, because the street was so crowded with multiple operators. When we picked up our 5 pm tickets at 440, the museum was letting in the 415 people. It was difficult to figure out where to line up to get in because of the delay, although that's probably the museum's fault rather than the service. We got in around 525, and that was enough time to see everything before it closed.

I could not believe how easy the whole process was from buying tickets to entering the museum. Amazing. The app is a must as it has all information needed. I arrived at the meeting point, was shown where to go and only waited about 10 minutes before going into the museum. I woukd definitely use Headout again.
