Statue of David was impressive. Interesting learning about the prisoners on the way in. I forgot to use the audio guide you can get at the front door, but used Rick Steve's audio tour. You need to listen to David's history. Time spent in there is up to you. It's not a big place, and groups are in waves, so you'll get your own photo.

After getting shut out of tickets from the museum, Headout offered a generally, comparably priced ticket for an early entry. We were able to avoid crowding and thus, get up close and personal with Michaelangelo's David!

It was such an easy ticketing experience. I don't speak Italian so using Headout and not having to navigate my way around to find tickets was awesome. Will be using again!

Am amazing collection of art. Particularly taken by Caravaggio's Medusa. The ticket and entry was surprisingly straightforward.

The wait was very short and the staff very pleasant. I highly recommend the visit to the museum. You have to get your ticket right in front of the academy at a ticket office next to a bookstore - very easy. I am very pleased with this visit.

It's the system of having to be there waiting for someone to give you the tickets. I would prefer to get them all one day and that's it.

The architecture of the museum itself and the art of course :) It was really crowded, though..... So many people want to see the beauty!!!! :)

The main attraction was obviously the statue of David but the other exhibits, including some unusual musical instruments were somewhat underwhelming. In countries such as the UK, art galleries and museums are mostly free, even for tourists. The cost and the long queues seem not justifiable.

This was a good experience, it gives access to the entire museum including the statue of David. But the line queue at the museum is very confusing and hard to navigate with so many people. The staff were helpful with navigating the lines and timed entry.

We enjoyed the museum a great deal, however, the audio guide headsets were not available to us as anticipated. I thought that we would receive a recorded audio file to guide us. The museum was very neat and clean with awesome statues and artworks.

To meet again 20 years later with the David face to face, for me it is extraordinary, it is still the masterpiece that has impacted me the most in my life. ....

Instructions to claim our ticket from the voucher provided and directions to the ticket exchange booth were right on! Gallery was amazing with many artifacts and a very interesting musical instrument room!

Even though we had skip the lines. We still had to wait in like for almost an hour past our booking time. Ticket collection is not well signed

We could not use the tickets to Uffizi, they start in May 8 at 10,30 instead of 8 and was not possible to wait in 1 km queu. Horrible orgenization of Uffizi staff..

I went to see Birth of Venus, (which was fantastic,) but the other works held at the Uffuzi were also quite stunning, espicailly Caravaggio's Medusa.

The art museum is really beautiful. The first time I saw the authentic David statue, I thought it was incredible. The whole trip of art appreciation was very good. The only thing that I felt I could improve was the queue. On that day, I went 20 minutes in advance. As a result, the queue was still an hour ago. I asked the staff about my time point where to queue up. The three staff members were different, and they also asked me to go to the next street to have a look. Fortunately, I insisted on not leaving until waiting for the queue, otherwise I would definitely miss it and not be able to enter. I sincerely suggest that the digital ticket app can inform customers. At present, what time is their turn to enter. It is expected to line up in a few minutes later. Let tourists know the time and location at the app, so that they don't have to panic on the road.

I read the previous reviews on having to exchange your ticket beforehand so arrived with plenty of time. However when we went to the ticket office they said just to get in the time designated queue and you can exchange your tickets inside the museum. We double checked and was told this by a guide too. It went okay- we just exchanged inside but was worrying with all the contrary advice given online that we might be turned away, so I don't know if the process has just changed recently. This was on 2nd May 2024. Also bought combo tickets but somehow got 2 tickets for one museum and only 1 for another. Was probably user error but combo implies you would want both people going to both museums, why would I want half a combo ticket? So maybe something to flag if people accidently choose this option in future. Museum themselves were great however - but be prepared for a lot of confusing queuing.
