Colosseum Express Guided Tour

We booked our tickets 2 days before and we are glad we had this experience and had tickets that mostly sold out.. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history of colosseum. We understand her english. What we love about is the skip the line. Even if it's expensive it's worth it getting inside to see the 7wonders of the world colosseum . Its highly recommended this tour its not a scam

We wanted a Colosseum English tour within around a day however most were booked so as we only had 48 hours in Rome there was a spanish one avaliable so booked it instead in order to at least gain access to see the historic site inside. When we arrived for our tour the organisers were very helpful and seeing that we would have gone on the English speaking one they allowed us to join the next English speaking one for an extra €10 each. So although we paid extra they squeezed us in and we were very happy with the express tour and being able to gain access to the site. The only thing I would say as it was very busy with so many groups inside that at some times it felt a bit hectic especially as it was a hot day but nevertheless it was worth it as after the tour we were also able to access the Forum and other areas by ourselves so well worth it and I would recommend this tour. We went in Mid May which is a good time to go as can imagine it might be unbearable in the hotter summer months.

Very good experience, but a lot of harassment from people who are outside wanting to sell you bracelets and I was robbed without realizing it, too many pickpockets, very good guuada experience, pity for the people who go to steal from tourists, makes the experience bad.

It was a nice tour, but maybe I made the wrong choice to go express. I had already been on another opportunity with a longer extension, which is what I would have intended. But anyway, it was very good. The guide was fantastic and very nice.

The guide Vanessa (I think it was her name) was spectacular, in this type of visits is the most important thing, a guide that keeps you on your toes, hooked to the explanation because it is interesting, dynamic. The guide is the soul of the visit and in this case was 10.

We booked a guided toor, which was excellent. Our guide was very professional. She let us know that our combined ticket allows us also to visit Forum Romanum and the Palatine hill. However one of the tickets which was fully operational in the Colosseum, proved to be faulty at the entrace of the Forum Romanum. The ticket was exclusively valid for May the 4th, which was also written on it, but the entrace guard lady insisted the bar code was used at may 3. She understood it was impossible but refused to let us in. We had to argue with the staff, wait half an our, and call Discover Rome Tours (your organizing partner) twice, until they somehow managed the difficulties. They have told us, it was a technical error. This intermezzo was very inconvinient and almost blew our schedule.

Its unprofessional that we had to go to purchase tickets (they told us by mistake had reservation for yesterday) but most important they gave us a (prepaid?) card to buy the tickets but the cashier was angry and denied do the job with this card so they told is to use our credit card and they gave us cash! Looks like sth illegal or bad but we dont know what exactly, sure disatisfying.

Our guide was really interesting and full of life. She managed to bring the Coloseum to life for us. Highly recommended tour.

I paid for the short 1 hr tour, ONLY because I had limited time. Unfortunately the tour was delayed to start for 30 min so I feel like I missed SO MUCH because I had to leave early. What I did get was awesome! The guide was fantastic and the Colosseum is just incredible!

Our host was amazing! She explained everything in great detail. We had a wonderful time and loved learning as much as we did!

The guide was very knowledgeable and provided great insight. My only complaint is that I bought the ticket for 11:00 and was told the day before that the tour was pushed back to 11:30 and when I arrived I was told my tour was at 12. I waited around for an hour and would have planned something before if I knew.

Of all the tours I have taken in Rome it was the best. The guides were very attentive, they created a super nice atmosphere with the whole group. Creating a connection with each of the participants.

Very good and accurate information about the history of the colosseum, the guide was very helpful and educated. It's a vey nice place to visit and highly recommend, you can have access with the ticket to the high part where you can have nice photos.
