Herculaneum Skip-the-Line Tickets

Able to get in quickly. Note however that the staff at the park don't appear to know where you need to retrieve your tickets. We were misdirected two times. However because it was not busy we were not stuck in lines. So make sure you read the instructions carefully on where to retrieve your ticket voucher before going to pick up your park entry ticket.

The site is amazing and well worth the visit! It's incredible how well preserved Herculaneum is and is very unique from other Roman sites I've visited before. We visited the last week of May and it wasn't too busy which was great. I'm looking forward to visiting if/when Villa of the Papyri is open to the public!

Beautiful and very interesting experience. The "skip the line" tickets were not useful, as there wasn't a big queue though. The staff did not seem familiar with the "skip the line" tickets and seemed to be bothered to have to print our tickets first.

Everything is close together (whereas Pompeii is quite widespread). The audio guide makes navigating really easy. We were at first a bit worried that we could not get access via the WR code on the smartphone, but once there everything became clear very quickly: You are handed over your own audio guide in smartphone format

We enjoyed the reception of the Hercules among the gods with Hera and Minerva. Similarly all the maintained paintings and all the statues. The explanations are interesting, but the directions could be clearer. It is not always justifiable where it is located.

The ease of booking my tickets. Just one comment. For a subsequent reservation for another museum, the discounted price offered by headout is higher than the price of admission to the same museum without any discount. Sincerely

Enter without having to wait. No restrictions on the schedule, we arrived late and had no problem gaining access. Our visit was l'ibre with audio guide. All very well preserved and the audio guide with very complete explanations. Advisable

authentic, super well looked after, clear explanations and wonderful experience. We didn't have to wait in line, went right through the gate. It was early and it was rainy so that helped. Very recommendable, Herculaneum is even more interesting than Pompeii

- The booking price did not take into account the fact that the Sunday visit is FREE for all! - access to the site is difficult due to traffic jams around

A fine tour, packed with information and highlights. The information provided by the audio-guides is comprehensive and clear, but it's not always easy to keep track of all the numbers in relation to those on the audio-guide. There were few people and no queues on the day of our visit at the end of April.

The system is very easy to use, and it is convenient to buy tickets without queuing, as you can make better use of your time. Especially for those of us who travel during the day from cruise ships. I recommend Headout, I think they are serious, responsible and operate very well in Italy and Greece.

The excavations of Herculaneum are a real gem! We loved them so much! Definitely worth visiting. The skip the line allowed us to be inside the excavations within minutes. Also nice was the idea of the deck chairs that allowed us to rest and fully enjoy the beauty of the place!

The site was more compact and intimate than Pompei making the experience more enjoyable. Quite a hike from station though.

Our Herculaneum/Ercolano trip was very nice, weather cooperated. Tickets were issued without any problem (although a lineup to buy the ticket on the spot was not that big in beginning of May). The only thing to mention is the visit time: the skip-the-line tickets mention the strict time while in fact it doesn't matter, one just get the ticket and goes in. Overall - good, thank you.

There are no words to describe the wonder and beauty we saw here! So sad that the site was buried and messed up by nature! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Love the visit but the ticket system was poor. Prebooked tickets with the audio guide. Was directed to the ticket desk (had to wait), then directed to pick up audio guide, then given another piece of paper to go back in the ticket queue to get entrance tickets. So from an advert of skip the queue I had to queue twice! Other than that I thought it was a fab visit, just sort the "skip the queue" arrangements

Linda was an excellent, very knowledgeable and informative guide. She was waiting for us at the ticket booth as arranged and took us at our pace through the site. We had a lot of questions and she was able to answer every one. Excellent English.

The app was good. Audio guide not so good and parts of the site ( rooms at the shoreline ) were closed without any prior notice so a little disappointing.

M'ha agradat com es veu de be com era la ciutat, es molt realista, es veu que hi ha molta feina a fer, però et fas una idea força clara . Es l'únic lloc on realment ha sigut efectiva la compra on linees de les entrades.
