If you want to experience the Amazon jungles, the African rainforest, and the Mediterranean woodlands without leaving Madrid, head to the Faunia Nature Park. This zoo and botanical garden is spread across 14,000 square meters of lush ecosystems and themed areas, providing shelter to more than 4,000 animals of 700 species. Hang out with Komodo dragons, sea lions, penguins, West Indian manatees, and more. Find out intriguing facts (like did you know that adult Komodo dragons are cannibals?) as you walk through this nature-packed park. There are 15 special themed areas, letting you discover your preferred animal species.
