Your meeting point is the Teatro Massimo, which is an admirable structure of Italy's largest Opera House! Walk into the heart of the historical "U Capu" market, where tradition, history, culture, and street food come together in unison to provide you a unique experience. You'll pass by a hidden Baroque gem that was recently restored, the church of the Immaculate Conception. Walk through alleys and ancient buildings to reach the Norman cathedral, where the remains of Frederick II of Swabia and the silver “Vara” of Santa Rosalia are housed.
Find yourself at the Royal Palace of the Normans, past the Villa Bonanno gardens and the ancient Roman ruins of Paleopolis. Preserving over 3,000 years of history along with fantastic mosaics of the Palatine Chapel (where Arabs, Byzantines, and Normans shared secrets and knowledge), this attraction is steeped in history. Along ancient fortifications, you'll notice San Giovanni Degli Eremiti, a church flaunting evocative Arab-Norman architecture. Learn all about the Middle Ages, Spanish facades, and courtyards of the historic residences at the 'Cassaro' street, where your tour ends.
