Very good organization. I had not been able to find a ticket for the Veiled Christ, so I turned to this site (Headout) a little afraid of getting a rip-off (which had happened to me in the past) : I had to change my mind. The walk in the center of Naples, together with the visit to the Veiled Christ, thanks to the excellent guide (Francesco) , who dispensed historical notes and curiosities, was a wonderful surprise. Absolutely recommend it.

Feel the humdrum of the old historic city center as you stroll along the Spaccanapoli and experience the year-round christmas-spirit in the alley of San Gregorio Armeno, dotted with artisanal shops and nativity figurines.

Unveil the “Veiled Christ”

As you step into the Sansevero Chapel, watch rays of light dance through the stained glass windows illuminating secrets centuries old in vivid colors. Amidst the elaborate Baroque frescoes and marble sculptures, the Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino stands apart. Though carved from marble, the delicate veil over Christ’s form looks so real and it feels like it will flutter in any breath. People were so irked by its realistic details that rumours started floating. Most believed that some dark alchemy allowed the artist and the patron of the Chapel to turn anything and everything into marble. Listen to your guide paint vivid tapestries of the events that conspired inside and outside the Chapel’s walls.

You can opt for a guide who speaks Italian, English, and French as per your preference and comfort. You can also upgrade your Italian tour to explore a 1st century Roman bath hidden beneath the grandiose of Santa Chiara Cloister.
