The tour was perfectly organized, meeting point instructions and procedure very good explained. The highlight was our very experienced guide, who took the extra time and interest to explain more than was asked of her and, although very knowlegeable, gave us all necessary information telling it like a beutiful story. We had a fantastic tour guide who was very proficient in english and had lots of knowledge of the Basilica and Doges Palace.

The meeting point was clear. Audio guide in app was confusing at first because we had to determine which area was first on the audio. And which way to go through the basilica. There was no mention of an additional fee to see an area of the basilica that was talked about in the audio guide. There were no volunteers to ask once inside. Had to follow the crowd. It was good for first time visit at yiur own pace.

We liked being able to skip the lines. I wish we knew about the extra ticket to get behind the alter, although we were able to buy it in the church it would have been more convenient to have it attached to our entry ticket:

Sarah did a great job sharing a little history about Venice and gondolas during our mini walking tour towards the gondola service. Weather was perfect and ride was smooth. Don't expect the gondoliers to speak to you but the silence was golden as you enjoy the ambience! Great experience overall.

A very interesting place and collection of early 20th century modern art, with a temporary exhibition of work by Marcel Duchamp. As it was Guggenheim's personal collection, it adds a special flavor from that period of time, all in her Venice Palazzo! The ticket transfer was seamless, though, there weren't many visitors on that particular day.
