The Story

The inspirational life of Nina Simone is brought to life in this incredible story that follows the life of the young piano prodigy with strong ties to the church. Simone quickly went on to become one of the best-known jazz singers in the world. The play also deals with lesser known incidents and facts that affected the singer’s life, such as the unexpected death of her father and her civil rights activism.
