Know Before You Go
Guided Tour of Pompeii Tickets
The guided tour of Pompeii ruins tickets not included in the ticket price. There is an entrance fee of €13 which you can pay for upon arrival. Your guide will assist you in the process allowing you make the most of your time.
Please note: there will be no breaks when visiting the sites at Pompeii. Please ensure that you carry a bottle of water should you need it as there are no beverages and food included in this tour.
The tour starts daily at 8:20 AM and goes on for a duration of 8 hours.
During the low season, i.e, November to March, the live guide inside the Pompeii ruins will be replaced with an audio guide if the group is less than 6 people.
The tour operates in two languages daily: English and Italian
Dress Code and Baggage
Please note, there is a quite a bit of walking on this tour and we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Do not carry and large baggage/suitcases.

How To Use Your Ticket

Meeting Point and Getting There
The meeting point of the tour is in front of Hotel NH Ambassador, Via Medina. You can get here by taking the underground Line 1 (Yellow Line) towards Piscinola and get off at Municipio stop. The hotel is a 2-minute walk away. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to ensure hassle-free boarding.
