Written by Tony Award nominee and comedy-world icon Steve Martin, Meteor Shower stars the talented Emmy Award winner Amy Schumer in her broadway debut, along with comedic legend Keegan-Michael Key. Why Watch Meteor Shower
Why Watch Meteor Shower
A quirky comedy that unfolds amidst an offbeat and absurd situation, the play explores what bubbles underneath the surface of a modern marriage. Set in the early 90’s, the play explores hilarious strands of love, life, chaos and spell-binding astronomical sights. Schumer’s role as the eccentric wife with unique interests is hysterical and every bit entertaining.
The Story
When couple Norm and Corky invite their friends Laura and Gerald for an evening soiree, little do they know that the night that reserved for stargazing will, instead, turn into a marital free-fall. Watch as a casual evening of small-talk and meteor showers turns into a sexually aggressive and manipulative word-match with hilarious circumstances.

Critics Reviews
“Steve Martin’s new play “Meteor Shower” is a wacky exploration of love, life, death, inner selves, order, chaos and astronomical wonders. The audience gets to see various versions of the evening’s events and must decide for themselves which and who is real, and whether we all have a little of Gerald and Laura inside.”
“The play is as fantastic as it is funny, yet ends satisfyingly with a hug-with-a-twist.”
