Playing the role of Peter Pan at her local children’s theatre is one of Ann’s fondest and most inspiring memories. Flash forward 50 years later when Ann and her siblings meet at her father’s funeral. Now, Neverland calls again, casting a magical spell over the siblings and reconnecting them with their childhood dreams where they confront the horrors of growing old.
" It’s to do with lightness, which in one of her essays she describes as "a philosophical choice to temper reality with strangeness, to temper the intellect with emotion and to temper emotion with humor...A sweet spot for Sarah Ruhl. Pairing philosophical daring and surreal tenderness.

" The cast is phenomenal, but standout performances by Chalfant and Chandler give the show heart and humor. Chalfant’s Ann is filled with a childlike wonder of the world that lends to her desire to not grow old. Chandler’s Hook is perfectly comical and truly memorable.
