Pluto is Missing

4.4

The latest piece put together by ‘The Peoples Improv Theatre’, ‘Pluto is Missing’ is a fun, family-friendly musical comedy which maps the planet’s journey of self-discovery. Featuring an emerging cast of Broadway hopefuls, the show aims to peak interests in astronomy and space exploration with catchy songs, whimsical puppets and a rendezvous with the Voyager II.

Why Watch Pluto Is Missing

A family-centered live show that combines the music, comedy, puppets, and animation, ‘Pluto is Missing’ tells the “untold” story of the planet’s demotion in stature in 2006. Featuring a new and peppy crew including the likes of Chris Mann and Emily Duncan, the production promises to bring laughter and joy to children and adults alike.

Alas, who doesn’t like an interstellar tale of exploration, self-discovery, and humor?

The Story

Taking inspiration from the real world, the story is set in 2006 when Pluto gets re-classified by NASA as a dwarf planet. When news of its new diminished stature reaches Pluto, the small planetoid decides to leave the solar system and undertake a hilarious journey of self-discovery through the cosmos.

On route to discovering its true identity, Pluto meets groovy satellites, fun-loving gas giants, galaxies of celestial oddballs and quirky stars. This witty production is scripted to be a laughter riot and the pop-culture references further the comical stature of this play. Will Pluto rejoin the solar system? Or is this the end of the solar system as we know it? Watch this engaging and interactive play to find out.

Treated my children to their first Broadway show; needless to say they were pretty thrilled and now i have myself a deal to take them every now and then! What a wonderful, entertaining and genius way to teach children about planets as well as the importance of optimism. It was a great decision to watch this after all!

What a cool, funny way to educate the young ones! I went along with my young sons to watch this musical and we found ourselves learning and smiling after every minute. It is supposed to be a family entertainer, so don't go hoping for something profound and out of the box.

It's cute, it sends a message and explains little children about positivity and self worth. I don't see a reason why you shouldn't go for this! Yes, of course, if you walking expecting an intense Shakespearan drama, you're bound to come out disappointed. It'll be a lovely family treat, so don't hesitate in booking for Pluto is Missing.
