The Beatles: LOVE By Cirque du Soleil
Originally conceived by the late Beatle guitarist George Harrison and Cirque founder Guy Laliberté, The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil is a three-time Grammy Award winning production that combines the reimagined music of the Beatles with an artistic and acrobatic stage performance. Presented at a specially designed theatre in the Mirage Hotel, this entertainment extravaganza will rock your world as it pays tribute to one of the greatest bands ever.
Why Watch The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil
The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas is a show unlike any other, featuring over 60 freestyle dancers, aerial acrobats and extreme athletes who put on one of the most visually stunning shows in Vegas. Consisting of a company of highly athletic and acrobatic performers that dance to the tunes of Beatles classics, the show is noted for being "the closest anyone can get to being in the studio with the band.” Born out of discussions between Cirque founder Guy Laliberté, Beatles members Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and the widows of George Harrison and John Lennon; the show has remained as true as it can to the music of the Beatles while simultaneously giving it a new invigorated life.
The theme of the 90-minute show focuses on the Beatles’ journey from the 50s to the height of their fame. The loose story of the production traces the journey of the band from the Second World War through to their founding before making its way to the band’s global superstardom and eventual break-up in the 70s. The show finally culminates into a celebration of the Beatles reunion, which The Beatles LOVE Cirque Du Soleil itself represents. Without going into a literal journey of the band’s history, the story is performed by characters from the Beatles lore such as Sg. Pepper, Lucy in the Sky, Eleanor Rigby and Mr. Kite.
