Musician’s Bio: Benjamin Appl
Benjamin completed his vocal training at the Munich Academy of Music and Theaters and the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding. From 2012-2013 he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, before moving onto being an opera singer in 2014.
Appl recorded several scores as a baritone and has performed with leading musicians and has sung for the Pope in a publicly broadcasted event. Over his young career, Appl received the Schubert Prize in 2012 and received a scholarship from the Richard Wagner Association. He was named the European Concert Hall Organization’s rising star in 2014.

The hour-long concert will have a performance of compositions by Schubert. James Baillieu will be playing the piano for the duration of the concert, accompanied by Benjamin Appl on the vocals.
