Fuse: Fusion String Ensemble

Fuse are best known for adding a personal touch to existing classics. Combining elements of jazz, rock, classical and folk, Fuse creates harmonies beyond the usual. With their harmonic innovation, extravagant stage setup and catchy tunes, Fuse are known for their many pieces created for television. Haarlem Dagblad described the fuse as, “Virtuoso, technically gifted and especially to the marrow musical”.

The program is a concoction of existing musical classics, personal improvisations, incredible compositions and fascinating arrangements. Fuse made their Concertgebouw debut in 2016 where they were described as new and different. Their new album - Studio - features arrangements from Bartok, Shostakovich, and Frank Zappa to name a few.
