Often referred to by the nickname ‘The Turkish’, the Violin Concerto No. 5 was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1775 and premiered during the holiday season in Salzburg in 1775.
Cited as one of classical music’s most striking and captivating musical personalities, Simone Lamsma is a highly celebrated Dutch violinist. With over 60 stunning Violin Concertos, Lamsma has worked with leading orchestras around the world and began her career as a soloist at the young age of fourteen.
