Why You Shouldn’t Miss This
The Colosseum is one of Italy’s most popular destinations, attracting over 5 million visitors every year. Standing 157 feet high (48 meters), only 8 meters shorter than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and covering a total area of 6 acres (24,000 m2), the Colosseum is the world’s largest amphitheater ever built. With accommodation for 60,000 seated and 10,000 standing, all of whom could enter and leave in a matter of minutes, courtesy of 80 entrances, it’s a spectacular architectural feat.
Believed to have been constructed as a gift from ancient emperors to the Roman people, this grand outdoor amphitheater once served as the epicentre for entertainment, hosting various public spectacles and games, including the infamous gladiator fights. Feel the adrenaline rush as you walk the arena floor, take in incredible views atop Palatine Hill and experience a slice of ancient Rome’s history at the Roman Forum.

After meeting your tour guide at the designated meeting point, make your way to the Palatine Hill and bypass the long entry line with your priority access skip-the-line tickets. Enjoy one of the city’s best vantage points and discover the hill where Rome was originally founded. Once considered the most desirable neighborhood in Rome, Palatine Hill lives on as an extensive archaeological site. Explore ruins of the Flavian Palace and Stadium of Domitian, as well as the legendary Hut of Romulus. Afterward, head to the Colosseum, just a 5 minute walk from the hill. Once again, skip the long ticketing line and make your way directly through security and into the world’s largest amphitheater ever constructed. Walk the arena floor and learn all about the theatre’s bloody past as your tour guide tells you stories about the infamous gladiator games.
Next, walk the ancient path that Romans once used every day as you venture into the Roman Forum along the Via Sacra. Visit the temple of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina. Marvel at the Basilica Julia and Aemilia, and imagine what Rome was once like thousands of years ago. Your tour wraps up here, leaving your free to spend the rest of your time in Rome as you please.

Did not get all of the history in it but then the whole tour was filled with wonderful sights and scenaries.
This is a pretty intense tour but the places covered will keep you so occupied and you wont even realise how tired you get. Definetly worth getting here.
The guides were super knowledgeable and I wouldnt dare say I did not feel like a gladiator.
