The buses are good but wouldn’t suggest it in winters. It can be really cold and make the journey unpleasant.
My wife and I explored both the whie and blue routes. We took a two day pass and its sufficient to visit all the major attractions.
Beautiful city but oh so crowded. I don’t even know why it’s still called a romantic city. The jostling crowds can be too much. The bus tours were a breath of fresh air and you can just sit down and enjoy the sights. The tickets are much cheaper on this site than others and works out better than taking cabs everywhere.
