Why You Shouldn't Miss This

Madame Tussauds

The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London was opened by Madame Tussaud in 1835. Some of her sculptures still exist even today and are a part of the museum’s history exhibit. Today, the museum is filled with some of the most lifelike and painstakingly constructed statues of celebrities in the world. This is a chance to take photos with statues that will make your friends look twice. As a part of the experience, you will get to watch the sculptors work slowly and steadily to build each piece.

Tower of London

The Tower of London plays a key role in European history. This 900 year old castle, right next to the Thames on Tower Hill, has seen kings and queens rise and fall - if only its walls could talk! Built by William the Conqueror, the tower started out as just the White Tower, which houses the Royal Armouries collection today, and was gradually expanded. Today, the tower also houses the Crown Jewels - a collection of over 23,000 gems (including the famous Koh-i-noor), and other jewellery. You also get the chance to take a guided our by the Yeoman Warders, the ceremonial guides of the tower.

Your Experience

Madame Tussauds

There is only one word that can describe the experience of visiting Madame Tussauds – Surreal. How do you react to the exhibits when you never even know if the person next to you is real or just another statue? Did you just excuse yourself after bumping into a statue? You get to take pictures of all the statues, and sometimes you wonder if the shine in the statues’ eyes is real. Rub shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities in the planet, including the royal family. At the end, visiting the sculptors at work and observing the development of each exhibit solidifies the experience as one of amazement. You also get to check out the Marvel Superheroes 4D experience - sit within the 360 degree theatre, and watch as the Marvel Superheroes battle Doctor Doom against the London skyline.

Tower of London

Once you enter the Tower of London, you have many choices for how you can spend your time. You can join a guided tour by the Yeoman Warders, the ceremonial guards of the Tower, that will cover all the famous stories and spots of the Tower of London. The tour will ensure that you do not miss anything important at the Tower. However, you can explore the tower independently and at your own pace. This will allow to spend as much time as you want at each spot, but make sure you visit the most popular sites like the execution ground, the White Tower, and the raven perch; each of them have an interesting story to tell. Your ticket also gives you access to the Crown Jewels Exhibit, that displays the collection of 23,578 gems and other jewellery that form the collection. Apart from these two experiences, you are also allowed to witness any historical re-enactments and your children are free to join the activities held at the Tower of London.
