What To Expect

Treat Yourself to the Lifestyle of the British Royals by Visiting Kensington Palace & Gardens

A visit to the Kensington Palace allows you to get a sneak-peek into the royal residence that has plenty of history behind it. The ever-changing exhibitions at the palace are some of its key crowd-pullers. If you are visiting shorty, you can explore the breathtaking palace apartments along with the latest ‘Victoria Revealed’ exhibitions that shed light on the private life of Queen Victoria. Equally intriguing is the exhibition that focuses on the splendid fashion sense of Lady Diana. You’ll get to explore the grand chambers including the Presence Chamber, the Privy Chamber, the King’s Drawing Room, the King’s Gallery, as well as the King’s Staircase and witness great works of art. These sections will give you ample insight into the lifestyle of the Stuart dynasty.

Next, you’ll make your way to the palace gardens that are a bustling hotspot of exotic floral species. Here, see the Sunken Garden, which was first planted in the year 1908, and how a hundred years worth of efforts have helped turned it into an elegant garden of epic proportions. The Cradle Walk surrounds the gardens and provides an ideal vantage point to catch a glimpse of its flamboyant colors. Finally, roam around a little in the Formal gardens which, at one point, used to be the King’s playground.
