The duration of this experience is approximately 8.5 hours (including transfer from Paris to Vernon and back).
The tour will be led by an English-speaking guide.
The tour will take place rain or shine. If it rains, ponchos will be for sale at the Fat Tire Tours office.
The bike tour will involve an intermediate level of cycling.
Tandems are available for guests up to 70lbs/32 kg.
All participants over 12 must be able to ride a bike, and participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This day trip takes place on different days of the week, depending on the time of year:
3 April-31 May 2019: The tour takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
1 June-31 July 2019: The tour takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
1 August- 26 October 2019: The tour takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
27 October- 31 December: The tour does take place in these months.
The tour departs from the meeting point (24 rue Edgar Faure, 75015 Paris) at 9:00 am. Please make sure to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to departure. At the end of your trip, you will arrive back at the Fat Bike Tours office in Paris around 5:30 pm.
The tour will not take place on Labor Day (1 May 2019) and Bastille Day (14 July 2019).
Reduced Price Tickets
Infants (0-3 years old) can participate free of charge. Baby seats (for children up to 48lbs/22kg) are required for infants during the bike tour.
Please wear clothes that are comfortable to bike in. Check the weather on the day of your experience and plan accordingly: bring water and sun protection for warmer days and warm clothes for colder days.
You will have the chance to buy items for a picnic lunch (on your own costs) in Vernon.
The meeting point for this experience is the Fat Tire Tours office on 24, rue Edgar Faure, 75015 Paris. Please make sure that you arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to departure.
The easiest way to get to the meeting point is with the metro. Take line 6 to the station Dupleix. When you exit the station, turn left onto the Rue Auguste Bartholdi. Continue straight onto Place Dupleix and turn left on Rue Edgar Faure. You will see the Fat Tire Tours office in front of you. It is about a 5 minute walk from station Dupleix to the Fat Tire Tours office.
