Chick Flick the Musical

Follow the story of a group of best friends trying to juggle the drama that comes with every relationship along with work crisis that is wreaking havoc on their personal lives. Watch a wholesome comedy about friendship and why it is the best medicine for any problem.

Why Watch Chick Flick the Musical

If romantic comedies, heartrending stories, and dramas that make you shed a tear are things that you like, then Chick Flick the Musical is an ideal watch. Best experienced with a group of close friends, the musical accentuates the power of laughter and love. A show that is inclined to moving the spotlight from the violence and destruction we see in our lives to family, friendship, and love, it is set to be a wild success at Broadway this season.

The cast and creative team has extensive experience on and off Broadway. Lindsay Nicole Chambers, who plays Sheila, has performed in ‘The Heart of Rock and Roll’ at the Old Globe. Sharon, who plays Karen, is most known for her role in Head Over Heels, a Broadway Musical. She has also played Sister Rosetta Tharpe in Lawdy Miss Clawdy.

The Story

Chick Flick the Musical revolves around the lives of four best friends who are trying to get through life, dealing with one issue at a time. One of the friends, a waitress, finds herself in a relationship that was going nowhere, and suddenly finds out that she has a pregnancy that was unplanned. Things get messy when she meets a new doctor. While all the romance and thrill of newfound love ensues, her two waitress colleagues have relationship issues of their own to deal with. The show is peppered with bits of advice on life that is both typical of a chick flick and unique in its own way. It strives to remind us that there is no medicine better than friendship.
