Meet your tour guide and your tour group at the dedicated meeting point, which just happens to be a hotspot for traditional Turkish delicacies! Buy yourself some tasties and use the restroom facilities before moving along to Hagia Sophia. Bask in the glory from the 6th century at this remarkably-famous church-turned-mosque-turned museum. Climb up the gallery with your guide and notice mosaics surviving the battle of time.
At the Topkapi Palace, be greeted by low buildings, courtyards, pavilions, and terraced-gardens. Walk along the outer terraces and soak up the beauty of the flowerbeds and the view of the Golden Horn from here. Continue walking onto the Harem, known to have once housed hundreds of war captives. Walk from the hallway to the courtyards of the concubines, and onto the Queen Mother’s Rooms. On your way to the harem, you’ll see ancient Iznik tiles with verses from the Kuran inscribed on them, embellished with elaborate floral designs. Your tour ends with a visit to the holy relics and the imperial kitchens!
