A 45-minute ski plane flight over New Zealand's tallest peaks and longest glaciers will blow you away. Board your ski plane from the Mt. Cook airport for an overflight right around Aoraki Mt. Cook. Mt. Cook is 12,349 feet tall, and passengers will have a front-row seat to see it. Mt. Cook is the focal point of the national park, and this circular flight encompasses all of the iconic geographical features that this region of New Zealand offers. The Tasman Glacier, New Zealand's longest glacier, can be seen on the eastern side of the main divide.

Then, after traversing the main divide to the West Coast, marvel at the beauty of the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers of South New Zealand. We will then return to the Tasman Valley via the Hooker Valley, on the eastern side of the southern alps. You would have seen the best of New Zealand scenery, an all-year-winter wonderland, in this one unforgettable scenic Mt Cook flight.
