Rome is a city which is filled with historical facts. A three-hour walk on the Rome's Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere will fill you with answers relating to the traditional cultures of two iconic neighbourhoods of the city.
If you are inquisitive to learn about the Jewish community in Rome which is one of the oldest in Europe, you are in the right place. You will be led by an art historian or religions historian.
Through their explanation of the past, the sites which you will witness will come alive for sure. The most able docents will choose the most interesting places around the Ghetto so that you get the maximum information of the historic period of Rome.
You will be taken through the Tiber Island, which may be where the first activity of Rome as a city took place. This shall be an opportunity for you to relive the days of ancient Roman history.
