In & Of Itself is a fun mix of magic with real life stories by Derek Delguardio. You'd be surprised with how the ending turns out... be patient if the drama seems a little drab to you somewhere! It definitely gets better. We were left feeling inspired that day.
In & Of Itself expresses a unique way of story telling. Combined with magic, dazzling illusions and a cohesive plot, the play opens you to a world of possibilities within Broadway. A unique show indeed!
Wasn't quite sure of what I was getting into when I decided to watch In & Of Itself, turns out it is quite a surprise in its own. The storyline remains deeply submerged within illusions and magic. This one of a kind show is certainly something that you shouldn't miss out on during your visit to New York! Catch up on it before it goes off stage.
Don't know why I came in wanting to experience a rousing performance by a star studded cast, because In & Of Itself turned out to be the complete opposite of that. However, despite my initial disappointment I ened up enjoying the subtle sparks of magic intertwined with the story. Impressive work by Derek Delguardio!
A drab and slow one man's show with a few magic tricks that wowed people, but not me. Wasn't quite impressed with the flimsy grasp on the storyline, and the magic wasn't as good as Dan White's The Magician. I would pass on this.
In & Of Itself is a thought provoking drama that is unveiled using illusion and magic. Stupefying and fascinating at the same time! It is almost impossible to hate what you see, which is why it made up to one of my favourite broadway experience.
You guys don't want to miss this one, really! The mind-blowing story is more than just a couple of rookie tricks. The story embedded in In & Of Itself is intense in its own way. However the drama may seem slow, it is definitely worth the watch.
75 minutes of magic, illusions and riveting suspense. If magic is something that captivates you, think no more and go for In & Of Itself! While I enjoyed the show, my friend lost her patience as it tends to drag a bit in the middle. All in all, it makes up for the slow pace it starts off on.
Derek Delguardio pulls off a magical story that keeps you waiting until the end to figure out what's going on. This artful masterpiece goes beyond the magic that the comments here talk about. Loved the experience! Can't wait to go again.
Quite an absorbing play, I must agree. However, I'm not a big fan of slow, engrossing dramas that take a while to get to the point. Even with Derek Delguardio in it, the drama failed to live up to my expectation. However, go for this one if you're the type who loves tricks. Not me!
Beautiful, personal stories interwoven with magic and bursts of illusions! What a charming play! If you miss this riveting play, you're surely missing out on something good. Also, thank you Headout for all your help... the executive waiting for us outside with the tickets was a sweet way to get them delivered. Definitely recommend!
Yes, it's magical and all, but don't expect In & Of Itself to be a show about traditional magic tricks that you've watched while growing up. The engrossing show talks about the personal memoires of Derek Delguardio. Thought provoking indeed!
When I read the comments for In & Of Itself, it seemed to me more like a magic show than a drama - but it is definitely a multi sensorial experience. The heavy, intense play is powerful, and the magic tricks balance it well. In & Of Itself is more of an elegant theatrical experience. Go for it.
Lovely! If you're planning to watch In & Of Itself, make sure you get decent seats to enjoy the delightful storyline and magic. We booked via the Headout website and were quickly navigated through a user friendly page. No trouble whatsoever! Thanks for a memorable show.
A modern magic show with Delguardio on the forefront. Witty, engrossing and charming - there's nothing about In & Of Itself that goes wrong. Make sure you don't miss a minute out of 70 to make the most of this experience.
