Florence Cathedral VIP Guided Tour with Dome Climb & Secret Terrace Visit

The operator, Aurora, was excellent, personable and knowledgeable. It was a relief to visit a brick and morter tour office as well. The trip to see the duomo was great. Some members of the tour had issues with the height and enclosed spaces of the walkways. Perhaps this could have been made a bit more clear for them. It was great to see a different perspective of such an iconic landmark. It was a bit expensive on my opinion, but I would recommend it.

The guide was so knowledgeable and took time to explain so much to us and made sure we were all comfortable with the hike up the duomo before leading us in.

My guide (Jack) was amazing - he made up for the terrible experience I had trying to find the tour! The meeting place on my confirmation email was just a random apartment building. I called customer service and was told to call the local operator. That person tried to help me but sent me a second incorrect meeting point. At this point, I'm convinced the tour is a scam and am ready to dispute the charge on my crednit card! I finally speak to another local operator, Carla, who told me to wait in front of a third location and the tour would come find me! When I FINALLY met up with Jack, I was near tears and very frustrated. But he quickly turned it around for me. He was knowledable AND fun and he made the tour so enjoyable! Not many your guides would quote Eminem while explaining the construction of the Cupola, but he made it work effortlessly. Thank you Jack!!

We decided last minute to see the Duomo again. Glad we did it. Plus climbing atop the roof overseeing the city was awesome
