Very easy to deal with - would have given higher score but most people I know aren't theater goers.
Becuase I got tickets and they got me in
Excellent combination of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and improv. This was such a great time !!
No one told me that there will be alcohol served during the show! I don’t drink and I felt rather left out throughout the time. No doubt the play was a laughter riot but you may only enjoy it if you’re okay with gulping down a shot with your friends at the beginning. Sober people should get their own disclaimer!
The concept of performing a Shakespearean play drunk was captivating, and so we decided to make it a point to watch this during our New York trip. Don’t expect fancy props and beautiful effects. The simple (NOT sober) play takes you through hilarious shenanigans. The play is different every time and so we can’t wait to visit again. Had so much fun!!
Drunk Shakespeare is only for those who like booze and comedy — with several light moments on a Shakespearean play. Lucky for me, I love all of these. You’re welcomed with a zesty tequila on entering! The audience being limited definitely helps.. all in all an experience we will remember for the longest time to come.
At first I was only amused at the fact that the actors were performing drunk, but then what shocked me was the array of free flowing food and drinks that were served to us as well. There’s no harm in getting a little tipsy once in a while! Let your hair down and enjoy with the actors, because this will be one of the funnest experience you will have in a while.
First thing first, the actors deserve an applause for being so good at the play despite being six shots down. Second of all, it was great to receive tickets by hand outside the venue. I had my doubts and was definitely worried about missing the show incase of any technical difficulty, but turned out quite a smooth process. Brilliant move, Headout. I’m for sure considering you the next time I’m looking for a Broadway experience as good as this.
First of all, I just want to point out as to how beautiful the entire stage set up was. Towering book shelves and a rustic library seemed right out of an old fiction novel. And although the actors were super drunk, they managed to pull off such an incredible show with ease. Please make sure you go for this, it is nothing like you've ever seen before - trust me.
LAUGHTER RIOT! The performers are sooo good. With an intimate set up and loads of jokes, this play is officially one of my favourites. I'm going back again as soon as i can!
What could be better than actors performing drunk AND offering you to drink with them?! Super friendly and approachable team, we ordered a bottle of champagne to go with the theme! The jokes were on point and funny as hell. There's no harm in enjoying the play a little tipsy. Go for it.
Drunk Shakespeare is a play that is different every time, as everyday there is a different actor reciting drunk. We loved drunk Annie! It was fun watching her ramble on with jokes and slurred speech! Nothing like you'll ever come across, make sure you go with an open mind.
I was floored to be welcomed in casually with a tequila shot. Before the play begins, you can even speak to the actors that are lounging around the theatre. Never experienced such a chill theatre experience. I'd say go if you're looking for a reason to beat your midweek blues.
Not my cup of tea
If you like shakespear, comedy and booze - this is the show for you! Actors were great and entertaining and you get a chance to win a free beer or two
An absolutely incredible show! Performers did a great job and I had a great time. It is very interactive and high energy, I went with my girlfriend and we had a ball
This show is absolutely hysterical. One of my most fun nights I've ever had in NYC! We laughed the entire time. A must see for everyone
Ease of buying tickets and receiving my confirmation
loved the show
