We had an absolutely amazing experience on our tour of St. Peter’s Basilica and the Papal Tombs. Our guide, Romina, was incredible—extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Because our group was so small, she took the time to answer all of our questions and explain every detail with such care. We also feel incredibly fortunate that we were able to go through the Holy Door during this tour. It was a very special moment for our family. My wife and I have done this tour once before, and this experience with Romina was far more in-depth and meaningful than our previous one. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Romina!

Our guide Anna was very accommodating. My parents were running late as there is just so much walking in Rome, they were a bit tired. Anyway they made it and the tour began. Anna was very knowledgeable about St Peter’s Basilica born from a genuine passion she has for the place. The tour was therefore very informative and highlighted loads of different aspects that only a guided tour could. She delivered just enough information to keep your interest whilst trying to show as much as possible during the tour. It was a perfect balance. St Peter’s Basilica was just incredible and it would be somewhere I would revisit when I return. Thank you Anna for making it one of the best tours, David enjoyed the humour as well.

Merveilleuse visite !! Qui rattrape la logistique douteuse. J'avais réservé la visite du dôme mais cela n'a pas été pris en compte via l'application Headout. On a dû refaire la queue pour acheter 2 billets à 15€. Il n'y avait pas d'attente alors ça va mais faites attention pour c'était inscrit dans la réservation visite du dôme selon l'option choisie et j'avais payé 54€ pour 2. Les organisateurs ont essayé d'annuler la visite la veille. Merci à notre super guide pour toutes les infos

Our guide Valeri, was fantastic. Dressed smartly, and carried himself wih the grace and charm of the refined French gentleman that he is. And so knowledgeable of not only the art in the basilica, but last the symbolism behind each piece. I've been to St Peter's twice before, but only toured on my own. The guided tour with Valeri took the experience to another level altogether.

It was a busy day, so we had to wait a little bit for the pilgrims to go, but once we got inside, we went directly to the tombs. There were many pretty tombstones. Then we went up to see the rest of the Basilica, and we discussed many of the statues and art. There were too many to get to them all, but it was nice to see and get some background on them.

Very crowded - tour took much longer than advertised (2.5 hours+). Guide was informative, but there seemed to be conflicts with staff at the Basilica as we had to wait and re-route our tour several times. Group size was too large and guide had to "manage" a big group in very large crowds.

The visit to the papal tombs and St. Peter's Basilica was really breathtaking. We often had to wait due to the crowds. However, we were sometimes quicker, like the priority line. However, our guide Brigitte made the wait a lot more bearable with her stories.

Very, very, very crowded on the eve of All Saints' Day, but we had a brilliant, cheerful and funny guide who made us forget the inconvenience of the crowds. The history of this place is rich and we'll be back.

Our guide was very courteous, super friendly and involved every participant very well. Unfortunately, our tour was postponed from 11am to 1pm on the same day due to an internal event at the Vatican. We were not made aware of the increased number of visitors during the postponement. As a result, the entire tour now took 5 hours instead of the scheduled 2 hours and we unfortunately missed our booked follow-up tour.

We travelled from New Zealand and Australia. The Basilica and Vatican houses our beloved Pope. For many years we have wanted to visit and experience the spirit of the people and the history. St Peter Basilica headout failed tickets The skip the line ticket was a FAILURE! We were brought by our guide at the wrong line and stood there for two hours! with the no tickets entry and we were stucked! We didn't make it inside the Basilica. This tour wasted three hours of our vacation! And we want a refund

We really enjoyed our guide but the queues were extremely long and time-consuming. It took us 3 hours just to get into the square outside the basilica. We didn't manage to get inside as we were in rush and couldn't wait any longer just got the view outside the basilica which is kinda sad.

Guide was great but inconvenient meeting point. We were at the entrance w no line had to go meet more people at another location 10 minutes away then had to walk back where we started and wait 45 minutes in the heat. It was a waste of at least an hour or more

The skip the line tour was an excellent choice, because despite the crowds our guide was able to navigate us into Vatican City and Saint Peter's Basilica very quickly and with minimum hassle. Our guide Valerio was very good and demonstrated a detailed knowledge of the history of the City, the Popes and some biblical context.

Our tour was at 11:30 am on 29/09/2025. I chose this date in particular as it was my 29th birthday, and I must say that I made the absolutely right decision. I was in a state of awe the entire time. Kudos to the tour guide - Georgina, or as she liked to be called, "Gina". She did an amazing job and handled our group really well. I am so glad that me and my daughter have booked our Basilica tour with this agency. We got lost looking for meeting point and a guy from agency called me on whatsapp and made sure we arrive at a designated meeting point on time. Alexsandra was our guide. All staff were very friendly. They had to contact us before due to the Vatican closing for a special service. They rearranged this well. The express tour gave us all the information we needed. It was great that the tour provided direct access & we didn't have to queue to get into the Vatican. Once the tour was over you could stay inside for as long as you wanted.

It was easy purchasing a ticket The experience with the guide is amazing. We were stuck for almost 1 hour and just standing on the line because the St. Peter's Basilica security service or management blocked the way and they forgot to let us in so we shouted at them for letting us not inside while the other side of the visitors continue to go inside. It is not of course the guide's fault but better when we can really skip the line with the use of tour guide app.

The guide on our tour was WONDERFUL and this review has nothing to do with him. Our tour was supposed to include breakfast (I spoke to an agent on support who confirmed this) There was no mention made of this when we got there, tour was at 8:00 and was moved to 8:15. We got there super early, there was no one to even talk too before the ticketing booth was open and at that point we were hearded out like cattle and the tour started at least 30 minutes late. Naturally we were hungry assuming they'd stop at some point, but no. Never happened. We asked the tour guide about it but unfortunately he knew nothing of it. It wasn't his fault at all and I don't blame him I blame the company. It was supposed to be an hour tour that turned into 2 1/2 hours. Tour was great but we were definitely hungry the whole time. I don't think breakfast should be advertised with the tour if you're not going to offer it. I also believe the length of the tour should be as advertised and that the tour should not start late if you're going to be so adamant in your emails that the tourist not be late.

It was confusing as to where we were supposed to meet our guide. We followed the instructions but a security guard would not let us go to where we were supposed to go. That uniformed person sent us back out to where they were some concessions and large red umbrella. Someone from your company did come and find us. We had to rush about to catch up with the tour. Also the sign that the guide held was not the same name as what we expected (Head Out.) Even if we were able to get to where we were supposed to meet, we would not have recognised our guide.

When we got there the venue was temporarily closed due to the amunt of visitors, this meant that once we got inside I just felt like the tour was very rushed, so that the tour guides could get onto the next group and catch up. This also meant that I missed my next tour and I wasn't able to get a refund on that because they said it was my fault still, even though the venue was closed.

Truthfully, i only took the tour to "skip the line" because i have been in the basilica many times before. However, i so thoroughly enjoyed myself. Our tour guide was SO knowledgeable about everything. She even had a book with diagrams to make things easy to understand. I found it important to be given background about what we were viewing. Good, a little disorganized and a lot of wasted time. But it was good. I went off on my own to explore, because the history can be googled or read in the library, most people already read and heard, then come to SEE it . Tour guide needs to focus on getting people inside, taking them to various biblical status, and areas, for pictures. This is not a history class, we only had 1-2hrs , but our tour guide spent 40 mins telling us stories and history outside and on the door way, While I applaud her of her knowledge, however this is not a history class, 6 of us had other tours scheduled right afterwards, so we left the tour midway to explore the Basilica on our own, including the Tomb areas underneath.

The tour was very interesting and informative despite unforeseen problems - the cathedral was not accessible at the scheduled time, it is Jubilee Year and there are more pilgrims than usual in the city, which delayed the visit considerably. Caren was the Frks in the surf of humanity and made sure that adverse circumstances did not diminish the experience. The cathedral was impressive and I will remember the tour as an experience for a long time to come.

The experience was good in general, but it took much longer than expected and since we had tickets for the Vatican Museums by appointment, we didn't have a smooth experience. We wanted to go through the Holy Doors and due to a disorganization in the visit, we were unable to appreciate this moment during the guided tour. We did go through it later, but we felt that it somewhat disappointed our expectations. As far as the guide and his explanations are concerned, we have nothing to say; he mentioned some interesting facts that made us appreciate it in a different way. Unfortunately, due to the challenges with public transportation and the hectic traffic in Rome, we arrived a little later than planned.
