The Story

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig eine Stunde vor Beginn in London noch TIckets online gebucht, das lief einwandfrei. Das Phantom der Oper war sehr schön, wir haben allerdings mit "restricted view" nicht gedacht, dass wir komplett hinter einem schwarzen Pfosten sitzen würden (bei Les Miseraables sind die Pfosten 15 cm breit und zu vernachlässigen), zudem hängt der Balkonrang über das hintere Parkett und man verliert die Bühnen-Sicht nach oben, katastrophal. ich habe mit Absicht nicht Balkon gebucht, weil es in diesen alten britischen Theatern oben oft sehr heiß wird, diesmal ein Fehler. Noch störender: die Notbeleuchtung war extrem hell und ablenkend, sodass man die dunklere Bühne nicht gut sehen konnte. In der Pause Stau in allen Fluren, kein Foyerbesuch/Getränkekauf möglich, wir haben drinnen ein Eisangebot genutzt. Resüme/Empfehlung: Stück ist toll, Theater ist wunderschön, aber um das überhaupt zu sehen und zu genießen: Nächstes Mal auf jeden Fall Balkon oder Parkett vorne buchen, wenn´s auch leider teuer ist.

Was really beautiful. Nice customs. Beautiful voices. Only it's better to sit more in front or upstairs for the view sight. But would recommend obviously 🥰
