The Colosseum is renowned for its bloody gladiator battles, enthralling chariot races, and ceremonial animal sacrifices. It came to symbolize the power, ingenuity, and brutality of the Roman empire.
In contrast, the Roman Forum was an integral site for public meetings, religious ceremonies, elections, trading, etc. Although it is a collection of sprawling ruins now, the temple of Saturn, temple of Vesta, Curia Julia (Senate House), etc. paint a picture of a vibrant city teeming with energy during its heydays.

Important Information
- Access to the church is not permitted in shorts or miniskirts. Bare shoulders are NOT permissible.
- Entrance to the Colosseum is not allowed with bottles, glass containers, alcoholic drinks, and spray cans.
- For safety reasons, you are permitted only medium and small backpacks. You are NOT allowed to carry large backpacks, camping gear, bulky bags, luggage, or liquids.
- The tour is suitable for pram/stroller users.

- Daily at 2:30pm.
- The tour is not available on Dec 25, Jan 1, and Mar 27 2022, the day of the Rome Marathon.
