Lined with tank traps, landmines, and barbed wire fences, it stands as the world's most heavily guarded border. Exploring this profound site can evoke a sense of unease, laden with symbolism. Your guided tour commences at Imjingak Park, 7 km from the Demarcation Line, honoring the Korean War's millions of separated families. Here, the Freedom Bridge symbolizes reunification hopes, as South Koreans once crossed into their homeland from the North.
