Are you up for joining a 3-hour walking tour to sample mouthwatering Sicilian street food? Stroll into Villa Pacini and see where the elderly meet every morning to play Sicilian cards. Dig into delicious arancini before making your way to a secret underground spot. This is where you can see the Amenano river flowing along a lava tunnel. Devor some more tasty food such as spicy anchovies, baked cipollina, and some toast. Your guide will let you in on the fascinating history behind each recipe. Stop by the majestic Casello Ursino, and end your tour with something sweet: a seasonal treat, the fresh granita with brioche, or the delicate minnuzza cake. Needless to say, a drink is in order - beer, of course, and also the traditional Catanese Seltz (fruit sodas). As you munch on deli bites and fish and delight your palate, your guide will inspire your curiosity with interesting street stories and urban legends. Finish off your tour with the Sicilian granita and brioche while sitting in the elegant square of Massimo opera house.
